The practice is open again and I am delighted to be offering my usual treatments, but please note that I am extremely aware of the risks of Covid 19 and am working in a safe and responsible way. I use the necessary PPE to protect both of us from the spread of infection. I am disinfecting the treatment room and all areas you might come into contact with before and after each client. I am very happy to discuss this further to put your mind at rest.
Initial consultation and massage
1 hour 30 minutes • £60
I take first time clients through a consultation and orthopaedic assessment to establish their health situation and a treatment plan. The consultation is 30 minutes followed by a 1 hour treatment.
one hour massage
1 hour • £60
A fusion of my massage techniques to best treat your condition. This would include, as appropriate, Orthopaedic Assessment, amma work, myofascial release, trigger point work, Swedish massage, scar work, hot stones, Indian head massage, stretching and relevant rehabilitation exercises. I work holistically and specifically as required.
myofascial release
1 hour • £60
Fascia is a web of connective tissue that runs through the whole body, Working slowly and deeply this incredible massage helps to rebalance the body by realigning and softening the fascia. I use indirect myofascial release, structural fascial work, cranial work. This treatment can bring fast results to many pain conditions.
scar tissue work
30 minutes • £35
This treatment can be stand alone for 30 minutes or can be shorter and incorporated into a longer massage.
Any scar can be worked on: from accidents or operations, small or large, new or old. If your scar bothers you because of the way it looks or feels my work can make you feel more comfortable. Scar tissue runs deep into the layers of skin below and this work will help to realign the scar tissue and reduce the appearance on the surface.
Indian head massage
30 minutes • £35
An incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating seated massage. It is widely known to promote lustrous hair growth and is renowned for relieving symptoms of stress as well as aches and pains. I work not only on the scalp, but also include the neck, shoulders, upper arms and forehead
90 minutes clinical massage
1 hour 30 minutes • £85
A fusion of my massage techniques to best treat your condition. This would include, as appropriate, Orthopaedic Assessment, amma work, myofascial release, trigger point work, Swedish massage, hot stones, scar work, oncology massage, Indian head massage, stretching and relevant rehabilitation exercises. The longer session allows time to focus even further into a specific area or over the whole body for a holistic experience.
Block of six treatments
6 hours • £300
Six 1 hour massage treatments of any or a combination of my techniques.
I devise a thorough treatment plan with specific agreed goals to follow progress and achieve results quickly and efficiently. Often deep-seated chronic pain or acute injuries cannot be resolved in a single session, so a series of sessions is the best way to really improve a condition.
hot stone massage
1 hour • £60
Volcanic basalt stones hold their heat to provide an amazing, melting experience which has the ability to soothe, relax and energise at the same time. Hot stones can be used purely for relaxation, but also, importantly, they are very effective when used clinically on a specific area allowing heat to penetrate deep into the soft tissue which promotes quicker healing and a more effective massage.
Oncology massage
1 hour • £60
A careful and gentle massage to sooth and restore the body. I work with cancer patients in a local hospice and find that patients receive very positive benefits from my treatments; reporting to feel calmer, more energised, less achy, like 'their limbs are their own', sleeping better.
